BlockSquare Seoul, a subsidiary of the holding company YouthMeta, provides a cryptocurrency trading assistant service based on artificial intelligence–driven algorithms.
Founded in 2016, the company’s robo-advisor, GoyaBot, provides price forecasting services for more than 180 cryptocurrencies based on data generated through real-time market monitoring, predicting future price movements. GoyaBot analyzes buy and sell orders in exchange order books, transaction data occurring on blockchain networks, and market liquidations to forecast cryptocurrency price fluctuations. Based on this data, it evaluates the profitability and stability of cryptocurrencies and assigns scores. These scores are visualized through a chart called GoyaChart, which provides buy and sell signals.
As the cryptocurrency market operates 24 hours a day, the robo-advisor delivers real-time analysis around the clock to provide investors with a better trading environment and support informed decision-making. More than 20 technical specialists analyze data and develop artificial intelligence by designing new algorithms that adapt to market conditions. After being offered free of charge for five years, the service has now transitioned to a paid model costing 13,000 won (approximately $10) per day. The company stated that around 15,000 users have subscribed to the service to date. In particular, it has shown strong performance in the Japanese market, where Japanese users are scheduled to hold a discussion forum in Tokyo on December 17 later this year to discuss trading strategies using GoyaBot.
In addition, the company operates four overseas branches in Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, and the United Kingdom to support continuous expansion into new markets. In March, it plans to launch an automated trading service that links investment portfolios with algorithmic trading, designed for investors who find chart-based analysis difficult. The service, which is currently in a testing phase, has generated an average monthly return of 10 percent. The company stated that through the automated trading service, investors can achieve stable returns. YouthMeta’s affiliates include BlockSquare Seoul, its marketing subsidiary Retri, the cryptocurrency asset growth platform RisingX, the cryptocurrency foundation VOB, and the financial and investment arm BlockSquare Investment.
