From Congratulatory Remarks by Lawmaker Min Byung-deok to Presentations by Park Sung-joon, Steve Young Kim, and Moon Chang-hoon, the Summit Brings Regulation and Market Outlooks Together

Co-hosted by Blockchain Today and Youth Meta, the large-scale event is expected to bring together more than 1,500 participants from across the digital asset sector, including traders, developers, investors, policymakers, and legal experts.
The summit is attracting particular attention because it comes at a time when the institutionalization of digital assets in South Korea is accelerating, driven by the implementation of virtual asset legislation and ongoing discussions surrounding a proposed Digital Asset Basic Act. As a result, the event is being positioned as a major forum for examining both policy developments and market trends.
The program will begin with congratulatory remarks from former National Assembly member Kim Hyung-joo and a video address from incumbent lawmaker Min Byung-deok. Jung Joo-pil, CEO of Blockchain Today, will then take the stage to present the broader vision of the summit.
Expert Presentations on the Future of the Digital Asset Era
The first main session will feature Park Sung-joon, Director of the Blockchain Research Center at Dongguk University. Under the theme “The Future of the Digital Asset Era: Perspectives and Core Capabilities for Preparing for New Opportunities,” Park will analyze the structural changes being created by Web3 and digital finance and outline the capabilities that businesses and individuals will need to remain competitive in the future.
A key morning session will be delivered by Moon Chang-hoon, author of Ripple Big Bang and a specialist in Ripple and XRP. His presentation, titled “Next-Generation Finance and the Utility of XRP,” will examine Ripple’s international remittance network, the progress of institutional adoption, and the potential role of XRP within the global financial infrastructure.
The afternoon program will focus on practical investment strategies. Professional trader Koo Bon-wook will present “What If Retail Investors Could Become Market Movers? The 10-Minute Profit Challenge,” sharing hands-on trading techniques and market-response strategies designed for individual investors.
Latest Developments in Global Markets and the Web3 Ecosystem
During the global session, Steve Young Kim, APAC Business Development Director at Binance, will speak on “At the Crossroads of Traditional Finance and Next-Generation Finance.” His presentation will address major international developments, including the entry of institutional investors into digital asset markets, the tokenization of real-world assets, and the continued expansion of the digital finance ecosystem.
Vision Chain will participate in a special session, while booth keynote presentations will feature leading domestic and international blockchain projects. These include decentralized trading platform Bullbit, iotrust, the developer of the D’CENT hardware wallet, decentralized derivatives protocol Variational, and FUNS TALK.
Within the exhibition zone, attendees will be able to meet project representatives directly, experience their technologies and services, and explore opportunities for investment and collaboration through a variety of networking programs.
Policy, Investment, and Networking in One Place
The organizers identified three principal strengths of the summit: expert presentations on domestic and international digital asset regulation and policy; large-scale crypto networking involving more than 1,500 participants; and opportunities to identify potential investments and partnerships through project booths and related events.
Bullbit, Variational, and FUNS TALK will participate as premium sponsors. iotrust, Short Challenge, and Vision Chain will join as official sponsors, while Tiger Research and Blockmedia will serve as event partners, providing industry information and coverage of the summit.
A Forum for Assessing the Direction of Digital Financial Innovation
Tickets are available through the official website, and the event will operate entirely through advance registration. No tickets will be sold at the venue.
The COEX Auditorium is located approximately five minutes on foot from Exits 5 and 6 of Samseong Station on Seoul Subway Line 2. As traffic congestion is expected on the day of the event, attendees are encouraged to use public transportation.
The summit comes as global institutional capital flows continue to expand following the approval of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, while discussions in South Korea concerning won-denominated stablecoins, security token offerings, and real-world asset tokenization gain momentum.
Against this backdrop, the event is being regarded as an important opportunity to examine digital financial innovation from the combined perspectives of policy, industry, and investment strategy. Industry observers expect the summit to serve as a significant milestone in assessing both the direction of the digital asset market in the second half of 2026 and the sector’s broader integration into the established financial system.
