The 2026 Digital Asset Korea Summit, one of South Korea’s largest blockchain conferences examining the present and future of digital assets, will take place on July 25 at the COEX Auditorium in Seoul.
Co-hosted by Blockchain Today and Youth Meta, the event is expected to serve as a major networking platform, bringing together more than 1,500 professionals from across the virtual asset industry, including traders, developers, investors, policymakers, and legal experts. Taking place at a time of rapid regulatory change—including the implementation of virtual asset legislation and ongoing discussions surrounding a proposed Digital Asset Basic Act—the summit is drawing considerable interest from investors seeking to assess policy developments and prepare for the next potential bull market.
The event will open with video congratulatory remarks from former National Assembly member Kim Hyung-joo and incumbent lawmaker Min Byung-deok. Min has played a leading role in digital asset legislation at the National Assembly, and his address is expected to offer insights into the future direction of virtual asset regulation and institutionalization. Jung Joo-pil, CEO of Blockchain Today, will then take the stage during the opening session to present the vision behind the summit.
The first main session will be led by Park Sung-joon, Director of the Blockchain Research Center at Dongguk University. Under the theme “The Future of the Digital Asset Era: Perspectives and Core Capabilities for Preparing for New Opportunities,” Park will outline the strategic insight required of individuals and businesses as the blockchain industry undergoes a major transition. The session is expected to examine the structural transformation of Web3 and digital finance from an academic perspective.
A highlight of the morning program will be a presentation by Moon Chang-hoon, author of Ripple Big Bang and a widely recognized expert on Ripple and XRP. His session, titled “Next-Generation Finance and the Utility of XRP,” will provide an in-depth examination of Ripple’s international payment network, the progress of institutional adoption, and the potential role of XRP within future financial infrastructure. Strong participation is anticipated from XRP investors and members of the Ripple community.
Following the lunch break, the program will turn to practical investment strategies. Professional trader Koo Bon-wook will deliver a session titled “What If Retail Investors Could Become Market Movers? The 10-Minute Profit Challenge,” presenting hands-on trading strategies designed to help individual investors navigate volatile markets. With its emphasis on practical execution rather than theory, the session is expected to be particularly useful for participants seeking to improve their cryptocurrency trading capabilities.

The global session is also expected to attract significant attention. Steve Young Kim, APAC Business Development Director at Binance, will speak on “At the Crossroads of Traditional Finance and Next-Generation Finance.” From the perspective of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, he will examine the convergence of conventional and digital finance, including the entry of institutional investors into the market and the expansion of tokenized assets. The session will offer a rare opportunity for a Korean audience to hear directly about developments at the forefront of the global crypto market.
Additional programming will include a special session featuring Vision Chain. Through booth keynote presentations, promising domestic and international blockchain projects—including decentralized trading platform Bullbit, hardware-wallet company iotrust, decentralized derivatives protocol Variational, FUNS TALK, and WeFi—will introduce their technologies and services. Outside the main auditorium, participants will be able to visit project booths and engage directly with investors, builders, and other industry professionals active in the market.
The organizers highlighted three principal distinctions of the summit. First, participants will be able to hear directly from experts about domestic and international regulatory and policy developments and use those insights to formulate practical response strategies. Second, the event will provide access to a community of more than 1,500 participants, enabling the exchange of timely market intelligence and the development of trusted professional networks. Third, attendees will be able to move between the conference hall and project booths to explore a range of events, technologies, and potential investment opportunities.
Bullbit, Variational, and FUNS TALK will participate as premium sponsors, while WeFi, iotrust, Short Challenge, and Vision Chain will join as sponsors. Tiger Research and Block Media will serve as event partners and provide coverage of the summit.
Tickets are available through the official website. The event will operate entirely through advance registration, and no tickets will be sold at the venue. The COEX Auditorium is located approximately five minutes on foot from Exits 5 and 6 of Samseong Station on Seoul Subway Line 2. As significant traffic congestion is expected on the day of the event, attendees are encouraged to use public transportation.
The summit comes as institutional capital continues to enter the market following the approval of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, while discussions in South Korea surrounding won-denominated stablecoins, security token offerings, and real-world asset tokenization gather momentum. Against this backdrop, the event is drawing attention from across the industry as an important forum for assessing the direction of the virtual asset market in the second half of 2026.
