Retri, a subsidiary of the YouthMeta Group, announced on the 19th that it held a “Blockchain Conference” on the 16th at SETEC in Daechi-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, with approximately 300 members in attendance.

The company, which provides price forecasting services for major cryptocurrencies, invited Dr. Jang Min, a leading authority on artificial intelligence (AI), and attorney Jin Hyun-soo, a blockchain expert, to deliver lectures on the latest technological trends and industry outlook. The two experts offered in-depth insights into how AI-driven data analysis technologies can enhance the reliability and efficiency of the blockchain industry, as well as how changes in domestic and international regulatory environments may impact the market.

The event drew strong interest from investors and members with a keen focus on blockchain technology and the digital asset market, creating a lively atmosphere. During the Q&A session following the lectures, participants engaged in active discussions, raising a wide range of questions on practical applications, future investment strategies, and technical risks.

A Retri official said, “We organized this event to help our members deepen their understanding of blockchain technology and explore new business models,” adding, “We will continue to introduce innovative services based on the convergence of blockchain technology and financial markets.” The company also stated that it plans to host regular conferences in the future to strengthen networking among members and expand opportunities for information sharing. In addition, Retri aims to broaden real-world use cases of blockchain technology through collaboration with various industries.

About the Press

"Reading MoneyS will change the way you see the world." MoneyS is an economic media outlet that constantly evolves with the times. It began in October 2007 as the economic weekly MoneyWeek, which itself originated from the launch of the university economic newspaper in March 2002. From the beginning, the publication set out with the mission of contributing to the sound progress of society and fostering a balanced economic ecosystem. MoneyS took a major step forward in 2016 by changing its title and, in November 2017, shifted from a specialized print magazine to an online news platform, expanding its coverage to politics, economy, entertainment, sports, and more.
