The 2026 Digital Asset Korea Summit (DAKS) will be held on July 25 at the COEX Auditorium in Seoul, with approximately 1,500 participants expected to attend. Presentations and discussions will address major industry issues, including the institutionalization of digital assets, real-world assets, security token offerings, decentralized finance, and global market trends. The event will be jointly organized by Blockchain Today and Youth Meta, and will also feature corporate exhibitions and networking opportunities for experienced investors.

SEOUL — Fintech Today — The 2026 Digital Asset Korea Summit (Digital Asset Korea Summit, DAKS), a large-scale event examining the present state and future direction of the digital asset industry, will be held on July 25 at the COEX Auditorium in Seoul. More than 1,500 participants are expected to attend, including domestic and international traders, blockchain developers, investors, and representatives of fintech companies.

The summit is hosted by blockchain-focused media outlet Blockchain Today and jointly organized by Blockchain Today and Youth Meta, an AI data analytics company. The organizers plan to combine Blockchain Today’s industry network with Youth Meta’s data analysis capabilities to provide an in-depth examination of key issues facing the blockchain sector.

The event will be moderated by Lee Eun-joo, an anchor at Korea Economic TV. National Assembly member Min Byung-deok and former lawmaker Kim Hyung-joo are scheduled to deliver congratulatory remarks and present their views on the institutionalization of digital assets and the future direction of related policies. As interest in establishing a formal regulatory framework for digital assets continues to grow, the summit is expected to provide a forum for discussing the intersection of public policy and industry development.

During a special presentation, Steve Young Kim, a director at Binance, will address changes and major trends in the global digital asset market. Moon Chang-hoon, an XRP specialist and author of Ripple Big Bang, will then discuss the technological characteristics of XRP and its potential role amid changes in the global financial environment.

Expert presentations and panel discussions will also focus on major areas of the digital asset industry, including real-world asset tokenization, security token offerings, and decentralized finance. Speakers are expected to present a range of perspectives on market trends, technological developments, and regulatory changes.

A number of professional traders with practical investment experience are also expected to participate. Market participants employing strategies involving futures, derivatives, and arbitrage will gather to exchange case studies and discuss methods for responding to changing market conditions.

The exhibition area will feature a variety of blockchain projects introducing their services, including Bullbit, a recently launched decentralized derivatives exchange, and FunS Talk, a Web3 messenger super-app integrating wallet, payment, decentralized exchange, gaming, and decentralized autonomous organization functions.

The COEX Auditorium, where the event will be held, is regarded as one of Seoul’s leading convention venues for large-scale international conferences and industry events. Its location and facilities are considered well suited to accommodating both domestic and international participants.

In 2026, South Korea’s digital asset market is entering a new phase of institutional integration following the implementation of the Virtual Asset User Protection Act. Investor protection and the restoration of market confidence have consequently emerged as major priorities. The expansion of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, discussions surrounding Ethereum staking regulation, and the growth of the real-world asset tokenization market are also attracting considerable attention across the industry.

“This summit will provide more than an opportunity for industry participants to exchange information; it will serve as a platform for broadening the foundations of South Korea’s digital asset ecosystem,” a Blockchain Today representative said. “Together with our co-organizer Youth Meta, we intend to deliver substantive, data-driven content.”

Registration information and the detailed program are available through the official website of the 2026 Digital Asset Korea Summit. The event is expected to become one of the major industry gatherings of the second half of the year, bringing together investors, developers, fintech companies, and policymakers to discuss current challenges and the future development of the digital asset sector.
