YOUTHMETA Chairman Iron Won Publishes Is It That You Can’t Make Money, or That You Don’t?
From elementary school graduate to chairman of a blockchain company

YOUTHMETA Chairman Iron Won has published Is It That You Can’t Make Money, or That You Don’t?, a self-development book about his journey from an extremely difficult background to leading a global blockchain data analytics company. The book covers his experiences of hardship, failure, and recovery, including poverty, business loss, and unjust detention. Through five parts, it emphasizes execution, resilience, relationships, mindset, and the belief that people can change their future by continuing to move forward.

[Herald Economy Reporter Ye-eun Kyung] Glosoeum Publishing announced on June 19 that it has published Is It That You Can’t Make Money, or That You Don’t?, a new book by Chairman Iron One of YOUTHMETA, a global blockchain data analytics company.

According to Glosoeum, the new book is a self-development title that tells the story of how the author, despite beginning from an extremely difficult starting point as an elementary school graduate from an orphanage, endured countless failures and moments of despair before ultimately rising again.

The book includes memories of Chairman Iron Won sitting by a riverbank and eating the lunchboxes he had been delivering, the experience of losing and burying 200 pigs due to an epidemic, the loss of his entire fortune, and the 14 months he unjustly spent in detention.

The author says he did not leave these experiences as mere setbacks. Instead, he rebuilt his plans, met people, and kept moving in search of new opportunities. Today, YOUTHMETA, the company he leads, has grown into a blockchain data analytics company with users in 27 countries and around 60,000 members.

YOUTHMETA operates an AI-based digital asset data analytics platform. The company develops solutions that analyze global digital asset market data using deep learning technology and provide insights into market trends and direction. It also shares information and insights related to the digital asset market through offline conventions and educational programs.

The book consists of five parts. Part 1, “The Deeper the Deprivation, the Stronger the Engine,” discusses the process of turning shame and deprivation into a driving force in life. Part 2, “You Learn a Little When You Win, and Much More When You Lose,” introduces experiences of turning failure into opportunity. Part 3, “Human Relationships Are Money,” focuses on the importance of people and relationships, while Part 4, “Your Thoughts Create Your World,” explores the difference between mindset and execution. The final part presents the attitude and methods needed to turn dreams into reality.

Jin-young Choi, publisher and CEO of Herald Economy and The Korea Herald, said, “The author presents the wave of an invisible value: digital assets.” He added, “This new opportunity, open equally to everyone, is not merely a number, but a firm source of courage that can restore collapsed daily lives and support the future.” He also said, “This book speaks of an attitude toward life that goes beyond simple techniques for becoming rich,” expressing hope that it will become a light of new hope and challenge for readers.

Jin-moon Doo, former CEO of Woongjin Coway, said, “I deeply relate to this record of blood and sweat, in which the author rose from the very bottom and pioneered a new market.” He added, “I would recommend this book to those who want to become the protagonists of the future in an era of deflation, not inflation.”
